Fuzzy

I'm really fuzzy today, muddled really. I upgraded computers this weekend. Upgrades are a fortutious advantage of scoring "the not to be named" test. I'm going to give Plumber Girl the last push this month. The predicted six more chapters should be easy, but I have run into a pretty serious timeline problem that I have to decide to ignore in this draft or spend the hours resolving the problem. NOT my favorite part of the process.

Well, I've got to get some holy snappin' going. Write your heart out this week.

I've been thinking about E.E. Cummings for the past couple of days. He's one of the voices in my head.

To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best day and night to make you like everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight and never stop fighting.

Some nice posts. You make me feel a little guilty about neglecting fiction writing.

Ah, feeling guilty -- I'm a "professional" mom and have fine-tuned my ability to "pour it on". Use extraneous energy and write that novel!

My snappin' has run out of snap. Need some peas! Bring on the honky tonk. I've reached critical mass on my ms, the point where either I have to write the horrific climax chapters or continue procrastinating while adding to the middle. At some point, my middle is going to get way too fat and I will be forced to end the thing to put it out of its misery. Right now it's a bit thin, so it may take a while. Maybe this will encourage you: I can't wait to read Plumber Girl!

Peas. Peas. Peas.

"I'm so lonesome I could die", "Who's cheating who, who's being true, who doesn't care anymore?", "Little shoeshine boy never gets low down; he's got the dirtiest job in town, bending low at the people's feet on the windy corner of a dirty street. When I asked him while he shined my shoes, how'd he keep from getting the blues? He grinned as he raised his little head; he popped his shoeshine rag and then he said, 'Get rhythm when you get the blues.'". That's all the honky tonk I can remember off the top of my head.

Critical mass is good that means that the reaction is going to complete itself! Snap! Snap! Snap!
